Konversation German - 1 hour/week - 4 weeks

KONVERSATIONSKURS - only $64

The name says it all, this course is about speaking German. We’ll get your head out of your textbook and encourage you to speak German and gain that confidence you might be missing.

TEACHER’S ROLE:

The teacher is there to help and guide you through the lesson, much like a talk show host but ideally, you are doing all the talking. You can, of course, ask the teacher for clarification on certain topics, or if the group would like to have a certain part of Grammar explained, the teacher will be happy to do this.

WHICH TOPICS WILL WE CHOOSE?

We will have a number of topics prepared but in case the group goes off on a tangent, we are certainly not going to stop you :-) The aim is to get you speaking.

Some sample topics are:

- Alles Bio. Was ist dran am Biowahn? ...

- Armut: Wann ist ein Mensch arm? ...

- Traumberufe: Was war Ihr Traumberuf als Kind? …

- Extremsport: Nur für Wahnsinnige? ...

Key facts about the course:

Previous Knowledge: B1+. We recommend having completed at least Levels 1-8, CEFR A2.

Door Policy: IMPORTANT
The entrance door to the building may be closed upon arrival.
Course start @ 5.30pm: door closes at 5:45pm
Course start @7pm: the door is closed and will be opened at 7pm.
If you are late, please call your teacher! You will receive a text message with your teacher's phone number before the course starts.
